Hope to see you there!
And on Tuesday the 7th, we are dropping the big one. The magical Double IPA, brewed with witchcraft and an absolutely reckless amount of dank hops. The One, the Only…
Plus we will have plenty of other offerings from Fat Heads, including everyone’s favorite, HEAD HUNTER. If you somehow havent tried this one yet, believe me, YOU NEED IT IN YOUR LIFE!
Give aways. Swag. Raffles. Mardi Gras Beads. And some serious beer on tap.
Let the Good Times Roll!
Lager. The underrated, underappreciated sibling in the beer family, hidden away behind palate-smashing IPAs and boozy barrel aged stouts. No one gets excited about a lager, right?
But a lager is reliable. Dependable. A lager will always be there for you, malty-sweet and drinkable, even after your infatuation with the hop scene has faded. Drinking a lager is like coming home after a long, strange journey, and for most of us here at 320, home is a place called Delco.
Two Stones Pub Brewery’s new Aston location has been the focus of a lot of hype, and we have to say, that hype is well-deserved. Delco-native Bob Barrar brews some phenomenal beers (19 GABF medals!) and we were lucky enough to get our hands on a keg of 2SP’s lager. DELCO Lager, to be exact. It’s both a name and a description.
We’re pouring pints and filling growlers at our Swarthmore location, but don’t expect it to last long. Delco may always be here for you, but DELCO Lager is a beer on the move.
Summer’s a great time for drinking. Cold cans for the beach, a bottle for the grill and a growler for the fridge are season staples, and if you’re mowing your lawn without a session IPA or a good pilsner, you just might be doing it wrong. Right now, we have a hop-heavy taplist that’s doesn’t hold back when it comes to IBUs, but there’s still something for everyone (and if you’ve had enough of the summer heat, you can fantasize about autumn while drinking a cool pint of Hofbrau Oktoberfest).
Every Friday, we’re going to take a few minutes to tell you about a new and exciting addition to our taplist, but for our inaugural post, we decided to focus on polar opposites…the Beauty and the Beast of Beer World.
Founders Devil Dancer is a beer that doesn’t play around. Blisteringly bitter and strong enough to put a grown man on the floor (12%!), it’s brewed with ten different hop varieties and clocks in at 112 IBUs. We’re selling it as a 10 oz special pour…big enough to enjoy, yet not so big that you won’t remember how much you enjoyed it.
You asked, and we delivered! 320 Market is glad to welcome back perennial fan favorite McKenzie’s Black Cherry Cider. Drinkable, bright, and refreshing, McKenzie’s goes great with a fresh goat cheese (we recommend Shellback Hollow’s S2) but it’s just as good served alongside a fudgy, chocolate brownie. Pick up a growler before its gone!
